Adjacent to Israel Bible Park, a large Vacation Village & Resort is planned, including hotel and motel accommodations for 500 visitors..
Interior and exterior décor will be designed to reflect life in Biblical times (but with fully modern indoor conveniences).
FAMILY RECREATIONAL AREA
This large-scale park, will be replete with Biblical landscaping and décor. It will provide a scenic recreation area for visitors. A stream will run through the park, stocked for fishing.
Dozens of picnic tables will be strategically placed under the trees, and nearby will be playgrounds and sports fields to accommodate visitors and families on day-long visits to Israel Bible Park.
This is an ideal place for families to relax for an hour and/or have lunch during a day-long visit to Israel’s Bible Park. It can also serve as a unique study place for outdoor classes and seminars.
LAKE — For Swimming, Boating & Fishing
In just a couple of years, as the inexpensive desalination of water becomes a reality, all of this will become economically-feasible and physically-possible.
Visitors drawn here will be able to enjoy swimming, fishing and boating. In addition, in the shade of trees along its shores, many families will want to picnic and utilize the recreational facilities (basketball, soccer, and children’s playgrounds).
Picture a thousand people of all ages filling the lake and its shores on a hot summer day – and then spending the late afternoon and the whole evening at the Biblical village experiencing Biblical culture and having a moving educational experience of how life was lived 2,000 to 3,000 years ago…
A large amphitheater seating 2,000-3,000 (in phase 1) and featuring an ample stage capable of accommodating a dance troupe of 50 dancers, will be created for the presentation of musical, dance and dramatic performances and pageants.
The Amphitheater will be designed to fit in a natural setting on a man-made grassy slope, surrounded by trees and inclining downward to the large stage. Natural landscaping will help preserve the Biblical feeling, however the most up-to-date sound and lighting equipment will be employed on the stage.
PERFORMANCES & FESTIVALS
The amphitheater will be the site of numerous Biblical festivals throughout the year and will revive long-forgotten celebrations of the nature and agricultural aspects of the three ancient Biblical festivals of Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot – including Simchat Bet HaShoevah and Chag HaBikurim.
The harvest themes, celebrating Biblical life and the religion and culture of ancient Israel, will be presented through lively and colorful musical and dance presentations on the amphitheater stage.
Performances will be scheduled for all of the Biblical holidays and on each evenings throughout the Spring and Summer – attracting audiences from throughout the country, as well as tourists.
Leading Israeli and foreign artists will be invited to perform in Biblical-themed programs, open to the public at large.
